Data & Account Deletion

Overview

Naqir Gift Box allows users to create accounts to manage orders, save delivery addresses, and track shipments. We respect your right to control your personal data. You can manage your stored data directly inside the App or submit a request for permanent account deletion.

1. In-App Account Deletion (Immediate)

You can permanently delete your account and all associated data yourself, directly in the app, at any time — no request or waiting period required:

• Delete Account: Go to Profile → Settings → Delete Account, confirm the warning, and your account, profile, orders, addresses, wishlist, cart and preferences are erased immediately. This cannot be undone.

2. In-App Data Management & Removal

You can also manage and clear specific data directly within the app at any time:

• Saved Addresses: Navigate to Profile → Saved Addresses and tap the delete icon next to any saved address.
• Cart & Search History: You can clear your shopping cart items or delete search history terms directly from the Search and Cart screens.
• Session Data: Logging out from Profile → Logout instantly clears your hardware-stored access tokens and cached profile data from your mobile device.

4. Data Deletion Scope & Retention Policy

What Will Be Permanently Deleted:

• Your user profile (full name, email address, password hashes, phone number, avatar).
• Your saved delivery addresses.
• Your app preferences, notification tokens, and local cache.
• Your active cart, wishlist, and search history data.

What May Be Retained:

In accordance with Saudi Arabian commercial and tax record-keeping regulations, historical order invoices, VAT tax receipts, and completed financial transaction records will be retained for the minimum statutory period required by law before being archived or deleted.

5. Processing Time & Permanence

• Processing Timeframe: Account deletion requests are processed within 5 to 7 business days following identity verification.
• Permanence: Once account deletion is completed, all associated profile data is permanently removed and cannot be recovered. If you wish to shop with Naqir Gift Box in the future, you will need to register a new account.
